Ute Ploier AW09
reminds me of last fall, same skanky skinny cut but good overall, really liking the trousers thats about it.
as you all know, fashion week’s come and gone and maybe coming i’m not sure i don’t pay attention to the dates or anything, but,
there have been a few runway sets that have caught my eye
attachment’s offerings for autumn/winter 2009 have been nothing short of delightful, utilising dark, drab colours with the occassional bright red (channeling raf simons ss09 or something) to recreate the costumes of medieval superstition. gladly, nothing that i can see has been inspired from that shitty movie twilight.

i was hoping for a lot from rei kawakubo’s men’s collection, seeing as i skipped a beat in her previous collection with all those manskirts. it was her ingenuity and the beauty of the cut that made me, i guess, feel like this autumn season will surpass all others. unfortunately, i can’t see any real direction in this collection except for blazer vests. the looks are a bit off, however, i implore you to analyse and appreciate the individual pieces. (here i chose what i thought were the nice photos though)

more to come.
